Anchor Claims Article June 17, 2008 "TPA Services from those you Know, Like, & Trust"
Word of mouth can provide a very strong influence in your buying or not buying from a company. Proven experience, a verifiable track record, is another aspect that allows you to make an informed decision. Regardless of the services to be provided, or how a word or sentence is phrased, when it is time to make a buying decision, you want to "Know, Like and Trust" them, don't you? What makes one TPA different from another? Since TPAs are in business to help your clients when their employees get injured, and the TPAs you chose for your insured are an extension of the insurance you placed for them, it is very important to pick a TPA with which you can feel comfortable. At the end of the day, you made their choice for them, and if it is the wrong choice, they might decide to take their business to your competitor. Just as is true for every company in the world, Experience is KING when it comes to a TPA. For example, imagine that you own a very nice car, but one day, the “Check Engine” light comes on; do you want to take your car to the Jiffy Lube down the street, or to the high school boy looking to get enough money together for his latest skateboard, or do you want the experience that comes from a certified mechanic from either a reputable shop or the dealership? What does Experience bring to the table? In the claims world, Experience brings Predictability, which then brings Integrity to the claims process and gives the opportunity for Trust to be established among all involved. What do you know about any TPAs? Here are some facts about Anchor Claims Management: Anchor has been servicing Nonsubscription accounts longer than anyone. In fact we started handling claims in 1989. Anchor has been working claims longer than some of the competitors’ Claims personnel have been alive.
