First, some important notes for your Applied system administrator, they will need to:

 

-         Have the latest Applied Systems patches installed on your system.

-         Run an account update to pick up the CIAExpress products.

 

Step 1 - Enter your customer information as you would normally.

 

 

Step 2 - Select the policy type you wish to enter.

 

 

 

Step 3 - Fill in as much information as you can into your Applied system.

 

Step 4a - Select the Real-Time Interface menu option

 

-or-

Step 4b – Click on the Butterfly

 

 

 

Step 5 – Select transaction type of ‘Rate’, select the line of business, and then click 'Go'.

 

 

Step 6 – You will see this message box indicating the information is being sent to CIA.

 

 

Step 7 – You will see the following message upon successful upload into our QuoteExpress™ systems.

Step 8 - Click on ‘Continue’ to finish the process so that you can receive a quote.  Any information you’ve entered that we can match to our database will be pre-filled into our QuoteExpress™ systems and you can simply click on the link to get your Quotes.

 

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A QUOTE UNTIL YOU CLICK ON THE LINK TO FINISH THE QUOTE PROCESS!
